We are a wonderful and caring family...yes, FAMILY! The Pentecostals are real people. We are not buildings, budgets or programs. In fact, our church family has intentionally invested its money and time in people. Whether giving to the needy, sending missionaries to foreign population centers, or designing programs that serve and nurture people from every walk of life, we constantly try to minister to the whole family! God has sent us people from all walks of life...hurting people and happy people, enlightened people and deceived people, old and young, white collar and blue collar, black and white, Puerto Rican and Jamaican, well off and poor, Baptist and Catholic, church-goers and church haters, Yankees and Rebels...all thirsting for the life that only Jesus Christ can provide.
We are not just open on Sundays, but our doors often swing seven days each week. Our home is heaven, but our goal is to secure an earthly location to radiate His love as a body of believers. We believe God has helped us to do that, and we'd love for you to be a part. People...that's what we are all about!
In addition, The Pentecostals also have one daughter work...The Pentecostals of Burgaw ! Our congregation in Burgaw, just over twenty miles from Wilmington, lies within the county seat of Pender County. It is the only United Pentecostal Church in that county and meets on Sunday evenings at 5:00pm and 7:30pm Wednesday evenings. Of course, if you are in the Burgaw area, please join us for one of these dynamic services soon!
