Bible Studies
Reaching into the homes of a searching world, Bible Studies are a proven method of teaching God's Word and showing His love. One of the primary factors of the success of any apostolic church, Bible studies taught by members as well as our Pastoral Staff have literally made an impact upon countless lives. Development, teaching, training, mentoring, and coaching gain new meaning as people are transformed from hungry hearts into grateful souls and, finally, into leaders searching for more hungry hearts! We attempt to solidify newcomers in the Word of God and at the same time teach them to partake in the discipleship process of souls as well. To assist you with your deeper walk in Christ, please contact our office to schedule a free study at your home, office, or other suitable location. Some of the Bible Studies we currently offer are “Search for Truth,” “Exploring God’s Word” and “Into His Marvelous Light.” If you wish you may also click on the following link for a self guided online Bible Study.

Daughter Work
We believe in growing and developing new churches in order to spread the gospel to all of our surrounding areas and we are doing just that in Burgaw, NC. The Pentecostals of Burgaw is a daughter work of the Pentecostals of Wilmington and is located north of Wilmington about 20 miles.

Drama
We are blessed to have numerous drama ministries within our church. Our drama team regularly performs skits and plays, and our mime team, "Heart-Filled Hands," blesses us with anointed presentations and songs! How blessed we are to have such dedicated and anointed individuals in our church family!

Feed the Homeless
We believe in reaching out to others and ministering to the needs of our community. One of the ways we do this is through our Feed the Homeless Ministry. At designated times throughout the year we provide meals for those less fortunate who have encountered a struggle in their life that has left them homeless and without adequate means for living. Our goal is not only to minister to their physical needs, but to minister to their spiritual needs as well, a mission that we accomplish by offering meals, bible studies, devotions, transportation to our services, etc. If you are interested in becoming involved in this ministry, please contact Dean Carroll at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. L.I.F.T Ladies Ministry (Ladies in Faith Together)
Our Ladies Ministry is a group of ladies of all ages from all different walks of life, united together with the same goal and purpose of developing a better relationship with God, with our families, and with each other, as well as reaching out to our community around us. Our ladies meet once a month for themed prayer & fellowship meetings. Additionally, each and every lady is part of one of our Care Groups, small groups designed to better minister to the needs of our church family, and to help us draw closer together. We also participate in ladies’ trips throughout the year, our annual Ladies’ Christmas Tea and the NC District Ladies Conference. Being a lady is very exciting at The Pentecostals! Men’s Ministry
Men’s Ministry is a vital part of our church! We have found that when men will humble themselves and pray, God will answer. Our passion is building our men to be better fathers, better husbands and better citizens. Our monthly prayer and fellowship meetings are helping us do just that! Our men have also been involved in projects such as “Church in a Day,” where we have assisted in building new churches or helped with a specific project to benefit the church or community. Not to mention all the fun we have with oyster roasts, camping trips, hunting and fishing, taking our children to air shows and so much more! Make your decision now to become part of what God is doing in this region through our men! For valuable links and resources please visit http://am.upci.org/

Music Ministry
Our music department is comprised of many gifted individuals who operate as one body unified in spirit and lifting up our God. Our purpose is to glorify and serve God in a spirit of excellence with our music leading others into His presence. Our mission is to inspire, encourage, train and direct those who are called to worship as singers and musicians.

Nursing Home Ministry
The Pentecostals also minister to many senior adults through our Nursing Home Ministry. We attempt to show these precious and most valuable elders our love for them through touching their lives and spirits. Fellowship, music and worship and applicable messages all serve to build a bridge between heaven and earth for these very important people.

Seniors Ministry
One of our strengths is the multi-generational make-up of our congregation. Therefore, we view our “senior saints” as cherished and valuable assets. You’ll find them serving in a wide-variety of indispensable ways. Their life experience and years spent walking with God form an effective base for mentoring and discipling younger generations. They also have time to listen to and pray for the rest of us. Our Seniors Ministry goal is two-fold: (1) to help our “senior saints” realize the many valuable gifts they have to offer; and (2) to include them in every aspect of the church’s life and ministry. Like relay runners, they are passing the baton to those who will go before them, urging them on toward the goal of bringing others into the Family of God.

Singles Ministry
S.A.L.T. (Single Adults Learning Together) is comprised of Christian singles by choice or circumstance; never married, divorcees, widows, widowers, and single parents working together for the purpose of winning souls for Christ. We also want to create an environment where all of our single men and women can grow spiritually and receive the support and encouragement that they need to proceed to the next phase of life. World Missions
World Missions is made up of several ministries, and The Pentecostals believe in the "Great Commission" in spreading the Gospel to the entire world! Yet, knowing that it is impossible for everyone to go to many mission fields, The Pentecostals support both North American as well as foreign missionary endeavors financially and with human resources. We send monthly and annual contributions to several different World Missions divisions and to numerous foreign and home missionaries.

Youth
The possibilities are endless for young people age 12 & up at The Pentecostals of Wilmington! There is always something going on to keep our young people involved and excited about living for God. From monthly meetings and youth rallies to special trips and youth camps and conventions, we take the development of young lives seriously and we know that there is no greater purpose than that of growing our future leaders to be what God wants them to be!
